Venerable Visarion, a Romanian monk, stood firm against the communist regime's attempts to suppress the Orthodox Church. Arrested and tortured for his faith, he refused to renounce Christ or compromise his monastic vows. Despite enduring immense suffering, including imprisonment and forced labor, he continued to preach and minister to fellow prisoners, offering them spiritual guidance and comfort. His unwavering faith and resilience inspired many to remain steadfast in their beliefs.
