On April 22, 1692, in the village of Brazi, near Wallachia, #Martyr Theodosie defended his church against invading Turks who demanded it be converted into a mosque. Refusing to allow the desecration of the holy place, he confronted them, proclaiming his faith. Enraged, the Turks seized him, tortured him, and ultimately beheaded him before the church altar. His martyrdom became a testament to unwavering faith and resistance against oppression.
