Around 310 A.D., during the reign of Emperor Maximian, Isihie, a high-ranking officer, openly confessed his faith in #JesusChrist when ordered to persecute Christians. His unwavering belief led to brutal torture; he was scourged, suspended, and his body torn with iron claws. Refusing to renounce Christ, he was thrown into a fire, but miraculously, he remained unharmed. Astonished, many soldiers converted, but Isihie and others were ultimately beheaded for their faith.
O Holy Martyr Isihie, intercede for us that we may stand firm in our #Faith and glorify God. #Saints #OrthodoxWay #Prayer
