Martyrs Montanus and Maxima, during the reign of Emperor Diocletian, fearlessly confessed their faith in Christ. They endured brutal tortures for refusing to offer pagan sacrifices. Montanus, a priest, inspired Maxima, a young woman, to remain steadfast. Even when faced with the threat of death, they both refused to renounce Christ. Miraculously surviving various tortures, their unwavering faith eventually led to their beheading.
