In 1955, during the communist regime in Romania, Bishop Theotim of Tomis was arrested for his faith. He refused to cooperate with the authorities or denounce his beliefs. Despite facing imprisonment and intense pressure, he remained steadfast, continuing to serve his flock from behind bars. His courage and unwavering devotion inspired many to hold onto their faith during a time of great persecution.
