During the reign of Prince Constantin Brâncoveanu, Saint Visarion, a humble monk, was falsely accused of treason by jealous rivals. He was imprisoned and subjected to brutal torture, yet he remained steadfast in his faith, refusing to renounce Christ. His unwavering devotion and refusal to compromise his beliefs inspired many. He was eventually martyred for his faith. May his example of unwavering faith and courage in the face of adversity guide us. Saint Visarion, pray to God for us!
