Taking this as a divine sign, he left home and found refuge in the forests, enduring harsh conditions and temptations. Eventually, he was tonsured as a monk, becoming known for his profound humility, wisdom, and spiritual guidance, drawing many to repentance and a deeper relationship with Christ.
