Venerable Gregory left his wealthy family to seek God in Thessalonica. He wandered, enduring temptations and violence from brigands. He was even falsely accused of theft. Gregory traveled extensively, teaching against iconoclasm and promoting true doctrine. Known for his gentleness and miracles, he healed the sick and cast out demons.
