Martyrs Montanus and Maxima refused to renounce their Christian faith during Diocletian's persecution. Offered honors and riches to worship pagan gods, they remained steadfast. After enduring severe torture, they were drowned at Singidunum (modern Belgrade) around 304 AD. Their unwavering devotion inspires us to stand firm in our beliefs, even in the face of adversity.
