During the reign of Emperor Maximian, Isihie, a high-ranking official in the Roman army, openly confessed his faith in Christ when he saw the persecution of Christians. He was brought before the emperor, who, impressed by Isihie's rank, tried to persuade him to renounce Christ with promises of even greater honor. Isihie refused, declaring his allegiance to the King of Kings. Enraged, Maximian ordered Isihie to be tortured and then drowned in a river.

Let us pray to #Martyr Isihie, that through his intercessions, we may remain steadfast in our faith and boldly proclaim the Gospel. #Saints #OrthodoxChristian #Prayer #Faith
