Dassie, a young virgin, refused to renounce Christ during the persecutions of Emperor Diocletian. Brought before the judge, she fearlessly confessed her faith. The judge, enraged, ordered her to be tortured. She endured beatings and was thrown into a fiery furnace, yet remained unharmed, her faith unwavering. Finally, she was beheaded for Christ.
