Ilarion Felea, a Romanian priest, stood firm against communist pressure to denounce his faith. Arrested in 1959, he endured torture and interrogation, yet refused to betray his beliefs or his flock. He died in prison in 1961, a martyr for Christ, his unwavering faith a beacon of hope in the face of oppression.
