Venerable Theodora lived in the 17th century, daughter of pious parents. After years of marriage, she and her husband entered monastic life. Theodora, tonsured with the name Theodosia, excelled in fasting and prayer. Later, due to invasions, she sought refuge in the Carpathian Mountains, living in a cave near Sihla Monastery. For years, she endured harsh conditions, battling temptations and praying unceasingly. A divine vision guided her confessor to find and commune her before her blessed repose.
