Joseph was born in 1568 in Macedonia. From a young age, he felt a deep connection to God and chose the monastic life at Partoş Monastery. Known for his humility and wisdom, Joseph was later appointed Metropolitan of Timişoara. He helped many people deal with suffering and injustice and was seen as a great advocate for the poor and helpless. Even after his death, stories of his intercessions and miracles spread throughout the land.
