In the village of Galeș, Romania, lived Father John, a humble priest. One day, a desperate woman arrived at his door; her child was deathly ill, and doctors offered no hope. Father John, filled with compassion, knelt and prayed fervently before the icon of the Mother of God. He then took oil from the vigil lamp, blessed it, and told the mother to anoint her child. Miraculously, the child recovered fully.
