In the days of Diocletian, Hermes, a soldier, was imprisoned for his faith. An angel visited him, healing his wounds and gifting him strength. Seeing this miracle, three thousand six soldiers believed and confessed Christ, all were martyred. Hermes, after enduring severe tortures, remained steadfast, converting a judge to Christianity. He was ultimately beheaded.
