Pahomie of Gledin, Bishop of Roman, during a Tatar invasion in 1675, gathered his flock inside the church. As the invaders set fire to the church, Pahomie urged everyone to remain steadfast in their faith, promising divine aid. Miraculously, the fire did not consume the people or the sacred objects, and the Tatar attack was repelled by an unexpected storm.
