In the year 302, during the persecutions under Emperor Diocletian, Pasicrat and Valentin, soldiers in the Roman army, refused to offer sacrifice to pagan gods. They boldly confessed their faith in Jesus Christ, defying the Emperor's decree. Despite facing torture, they remained steadfast in their belief. They were ultimately beheaded for their faith near Durostorum (modern-day Silistra, Bulgaria), becoming martyrs for Christ.
