Saint Visarion, a humble monk from Lainici Monastery, lived in a time of great upheaval. When the Austrian empire tried to force Orthodox Christians to convert, Visarion stood firm. He traveled from village to village, strengthening the faith of the people and urging them to resist the pressure to abandon their traditions. He was eventually arrested, tortured, and martyred for his unwavering commitment to Orthodoxy. Let us pray to Saint Visarion to intercede for us, that we may remain steadfast in our faith.
