Venerable Seraphim lived in complete obedience, devoid of personal will, and possessed unwavering patience. He accepted all things as coming from God, enduring trials with thanksgiving. His gentle nature, combined with spiritual wisdom, made him a guide for monastics and pilgrims. He bore sickness with unyielding faith.
