Priest Martyr Ilarion Felea stood firm against communist oppression. In 1959, Securitate arrested him for anti-state activities, mainly for defending his faith and refusing to denounce fellow priests. Subjected to torture and starvation, he never wavered. His last words before his death in Aiud prison were prayers for his persecutors and the salvation of his nation. May his sacrifice inspire us to defend truth and faith against all odds!
