In the Roman army, #Dassie was a soldier known for his Christian faith. During the festival of Saturnalia, he refused to participate in the pagan rituals honoring the sun god. When ordered to act contrary to his beliefs, Dassie stood firm, proclaiming his allegiance to #JesusChrist. For his unwavering faith, he was martyred on January 20, 304 AD.
