In the forests of Basarabia, Iraclie lived as a humble hermit. Villagers sought his blessings, drawn by his radiant faith and acts of kindness. A landowner, consumed by greed, coveted Iraclie's secluded land. He ordered his men to drive the hermit away, but as they approached Iraclie's dwelling, a dense fog enveloped them. Blinded and terrified, they repented and begged for Iraclie's forgiveness. The fog lifted, and they saw Iraclie kneeling in prayer. The landowner, witnessing this miracle, was converted and became a benefactor of the poor.

Holy Iraclie, intercede for us, that we may be shielded from temptation and find strength in humility.
