The Martyr Isihie, a simple monk of the Kiev Caves Monastery, lived a life of profound humility. During the Mongol invasion, he was captured and forced to renounce his #ChristianFaith. Refusing to deny Christ, he was brutally tortured. Yet, he remained steadfast. When they tried to burn him alive, the flames miraculously did not consume him. Finally, his tormentors beheaded him, and he received the crown of martyrdom. Saint Isihie, pray to God for us!
