On this day, we remember Martyr Iuliu Veteranul, a Romanian soldier during World War II. Captured by the Soviets, he refused to renounce his faith despite brutal torture. Iuliu stood firm, declaring, "I am a Christian, and a Christian I will remain!" He endured horrific suffering, yet his spirit remained unbroken. He was ultimately martyred for his unwavering devotion to Christ.

May his sacrifice inspire us to stand strong in our faith, no matter the cost. Martyr Iuliu, pray to God for us!
