On this day, we remember the Holy Martyr Hermes. A former soldier, Hermes converted to Christianity after witnessing the miraculous healing powers of a Christian priest. Renouncing his military career, he dedicated his life to spreading the Gospel. He was eventually arrested for his faith and subjected to brutal tortures. Unwavering in his belief, Hermes refused to renounce Christ and was beheaded.

Holy Martyr Hermes, pray to God for us and inspire us to spread the Gospel, even in the face of adversity.
