Saint Sava the Goth refused to eat pagan sacrificial meats during a persecution of Christians. When a judge tried to trick him by saying the Christians would be safe if they just said they would sacrifice, Sava openly declared his faith. Soldiers drowned him in the Musaios River in 372 AD.
