Venerable Seraphim lived in complete submission to God's will. For years, he endured a painful illness, confined to his bed at Sâmbăta de Sus Monastery. Despite his suffering, he never complained, always thanking God for everything. He became known for his incredible patience and deep faith, inspiring all who met him or heard of his ordeal. His acceptance of suffering transformed his sickbed into a place of spiritual healing for others. Through his prayers and example, many found solace and strength.
