Venerable Dometie, a humble monk of Râmeț Monastery, possessed a heart overflowing with compassion. Once, during a harsh winter, a group of starving villagers sought refuge at the monastery gates. The pantry was bare, and the abbot despaired. Dometie, unwavering in his faith, led the villagers to the granary, where, miraculously, it was now overflowing with wheat. Dometie attributed this to God's divine intervention, reminding all to trust in His provision. Let us pray to Venerable Dometie, that through his intercessions, God may soften our hearts and make us instruments of His mercy and provision in this world.
