Venerable #Antipa of Calapodești, born in Moldavia, felt a deep spiritual calling from a young age. He journeyed to Mount Athos, becoming a monk at Esfigmenu Monastery. Known for his humility and strict asceticism, he later lived in a cave near the monastery, dedicating himself to prayer. Many sought his guidance. Despite his desire for solitude, he healed the sick and comforted the afflicted. He reposed in peace, leaving behind a legacy of profound spiritual wisdom.
