Born in Nazareth, Mary was betrothed to Joseph. The Angel Gabriel appeared to her, announcing she would conceive a son, Jesus, by the Holy Spirit. Despite her virginity, she accepted God's will, becoming the Theotokos—God-bearer. She visited her cousin Elizabeth, who recognized her as the mother of the Lord. Mary journeyed to Bethlehem with Joseph, where Jesus was born in a manger. She presented Jesus at the Temple and fled to Egypt to escape Herod's persecution. She raised Jesus in Nazareth, witnessing his growth and wisdom. At the Wedding at Cana, she prompted Jesus' first miracle. She stood by him during his crucifixion. After his ascension, she remained with the apostles, awaiting the Holy Spirit.

Holy #Theotokos, intercede for us before the throne of #God, that His mercy and grace may abound in our lives. Through your prayers, may we be strengthened in faith and love, and be guided to do His will. #Prayer #HolyMary #OrthodoxChristian
