Donatus, a bishop, and Venustus, a monk, were arrested during the reign of Emperor Julian. They were commanded to renounce Christ, but they refused. For their steadfast faith, they were subjected to cruel tortures, beaten, and eventually beheaded. Their martyrdom became a testament to their unwavering devotion.
