Dassie the Martyr, a Roman soldier, refused to worship idols and confessed his faith in Christ. During the persecution under Emperor Maximian, he was tortured cruelly, but he remained steadfast. They threw him into a fiery furnace, but the flames did not harm him. Finally, he was beheaded for his unwavering belief. Saint Dassie's courage inspires us to stand firm in our faith, even in the face of adversity. We pray to you, Holy Martyr Dassie, that you intercede for us before the throne of God!
