On this day, we remember Martyrs Donatus and Venustus, who stood firm in their faith during a time of great persecution. Accused of being Christians, they were brought before the authorities and commanded to deny Christ. Unwavering, they confessed their belief in the true God. Despite torture and imprisonment, they refused to renounce their faith. They were eventually sentenced to death.

Let us pray to Donatus and Venustus, asking for their intercession that we may be granted the same strength and courage to uphold our beliefs.
