On August 15, 1714, Prince Constantin Brâncoveanu of Wallachia and his four sons—Constantin, Ștefan, Radu, and Matei—were martyred in Constantinople. Offered the chance to save their lives by converting to Islam, they refused. Constantin, the ruler, encouraged his sons to remain steadfast in their #Christian #Faith, even as they faced beheading. They were killed in front of each other. Their courage and devotion to Christ inspire us to uphold our beliefs, no matter the cost.

Lord, grant us strength to emulate their unwavering faith.
