In 1958, during the height of communist persecution in Romania, Father Constantin Sârbu was arrested for his unwavering faith and refusal to denounce his religious beliefs. Subjected to brutal interrogations and torture, he remained steadfast, continuing to celebrate the Divine Liturgy in secret within the prison walls with other inmates. Before his execution, he blessed his tormentors, praying for their salvation.

Holy #Saint Constantin, pray to #God for us and guide us to remain strong in our faith amidst adversity. May your sacrifice inspire us to live a life dedicated to #Christ. Lord Jesus Christ, Son of #God, have mercy on us! #OrthodoxSaints
