Martyr Hermes, a Roman soldier, witnessed the brutal torture of other Christians. Moved by their unwavering faith, he openly confessed his own belief in Jesus Christ. Arrested and brought before the governor, he refused to renounce his faith, enduring horrific tortures. Despite the agonizing pain, he remained steadfast, witnessing to Christ until his final breath.
