Venerable Theodora, a 17th-century Carpathian hermit, fled to the wilderness after being falsely accused of a crime. She donned men's clothing and lived as a monk, enduring extreme hardship in the mountains near Sihla Monastery. Through prayer and asceticism, she reached great spiritual heights, and was even said to have been fed by a deer. She spent many years in solitude, completely devoted to God. Her relics are incorrupt, and are venerated at the Pechersk Lavra in Kyiv. Saint Theodora, pray to God for us, and help us with our struggles! #OrthodoxSaints #Sihla #Carpathia #Prayer #HolyLife
