In 1714, Prince Constantin Brâncoveanu of Wallachia and his four sons, Constantin, Stephen, Radu, and Matthew, were arrested by the Ottomans. Offered life in exchange for converting to Islam, they refused. On August 15, after enduring imprisonment and torture, they were beheaded in Constantinople. Constantin, the father, encouraged his sons to remain steadfast in their Christian #Faith until their last breath. Their martyrdom became a symbol of resistance against religious conversion and a testament to unwavering devotion to #JesusChrist.
