Martyr Hermes, a Roman official, faced accusations of Christianity during Emperor Antoninus Pius' reign. He was brought before the authorities, where he fearlessly confessed his faith in Christ. Despite severe torture, Hermes remained steadfast, miraculously healed by divine intervention each time. Seeing these wonders, a judge and many onlookers converted. Eventually, Hermes was beheaded, sealing his testimony with his blood.
