Epictetus, a priest, and Astion, his disciple, fearlessly spread the Gospel in Scythia Minor (present-day Romania) during Emperor Diocletian's reign. Arrested for their faith, they refused to worship idols, enduring brutal tortures. Miraculously healed multiple times, their steadfastness converted many. Finally, they were beheaded for Christ. May their courage inspire us.
