Venerable John Iacob the Romanian, after serving in the army, embarked on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, never to return home. He lived a life of asceticism in the wilderness of the Judean desert and later in the skete of Hozeva. Known for his deep humility and love for solitude, he dedicated himself to prayer and writing spiritual poems, offering solace and guidance to those who sought him. He reposed in 1960, and his relics are venerated as a source of healing and divine grace.

Let us pray to #Saint John Iacob, that through his intercessions, we may find strength in our spiritual journeys.
