In the 3rd century, during Emperor Diocletian's reign, #Martyrs Donat, a lector, and Venust, with others, were seized for their unwavering #Faith. Despite severe torture and imprisonment, they refused to renounce Christ. Thrown into a fiery furnace, they emerged unharmed, singing praises to #God. Astonished, 70 soldiers confessed Christ and were immediately beheaded. Donat and Venust were then sent to Syrmia and beheaded.

Let us pray to Donat and Venust to intercede for us, that we may remain steadfast in our beliefs. #OrthodoxSaints #ChristianCourage #Prayer
