The Virgin Mary, betrothed to Joseph, conceived #JesusChrist through the Holy Spirit. An angel announced to her that she would bear the Son of God, and she humbly accepted, declaring herself the Lord's servant. She visited her cousin Elizabeth, who was pregnant with John the Baptist, and Elizabeth recognized Mary as the mother of her Lord. Mary gave birth to Jesus in Bethlehem. She witnessed His ministry, His crucifixion, and His resurrection.

Pray to the Theotokos, that she intercede for us.
