Ilie Lăcătușu, a humble priest, served faithfully in Bucharest. After his death in 1991, his body was exhumed for reburial. Astonishingly, his relics were found incorrupt, emitting a sweet fragrance, a sign of holiness. Miracles were attributed to his intercession, leading to his canonization.
