Ermil and Stratonic, imprisoned for their unwavering #Faith in Christ, faced the brutal emperor Licinius. Stratonic, a friend and former guard of Ermil, was deeply moved by Ermil's courage. They were subjected to horrific tortures, including being paraded naked and subjected to mockery, and were eventually drowned in the river Danube. Despite the suffering, their love for God never wavered. Today, we remember their sacrifice. O Holy Martyrs Ermil and Stratonic, pray for us, that God may work through your intercessions!
