As a young virgin, Mary received the Annunciation from the Archangel Gabriel, who told her she would conceive and bear a son through the Holy Spirit, to be named Jesus, the Son of the Most High. She questioned how this could be, being a virgin, but accepted God's will with humility, saying, "Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word." Mary conceived and gave birth to Jesus in Bethlehem. She raised Him in Nazareth, witnessing His ministry, death, and resurrection.
