In the year 372, during a time of persecution against Christians, #Sava, a devout Goth, stood firm in his faith in Buzău, Romania. Ordered to eat meat sacrificed to idols, he refused, declaring his belief in Jesus Christ. Even when threatened with death and shown instruments of torture, Sava remained steadfast, longing to suffer for Christ. Mockingly, they threw him into the river Buzău, saying, "Go now and cross over to your Christ!" Sava thus received a martyr's crown through his unwavering #Faith.
