Saints Nicander and Marcian, Roman soldiers under Emperor Maximian, witnessed the miraculous endurance of Saints Irenaeus, Peregrinus, and Irene during torture, leading to their secret conversion. Baptized by Bishop Titus, they openly confessed their faith when ordered to execute other Christians. Denounced and tortured, they remained steadfast, converting many by their example, until they were ultimately beheaded for Christ.
