On this day, we remember Saint Emilian of Durostorum!

When pressured to offer sacrifices to idols, Emilian fearlessly overturned the pagan altar. Arrested and brought before the authorities, he openly declared his faith in Christ. Despite threats and tortures, he refused to renounce his belief. Condemned to be burned alive, Emilian went to his execution with joy, praying for those who persecuted him. His faith never wavered.

Let us pray to Saint Emilian, asking him to intercede for us. May we stand strong in our faith, just as he did.
